There's largely an attempt to circle back to pseudo pagan beliefs that conflict with the old testament, which is also considered heretical in some sects of Christianity. Think "Christians witches", "wise men" etc.
But like, if we're talking about God. And you actually believe in God, race is hardly a component if ever. And it seems to me, historically that the guys worshipping Odin and Zeus and Jupiter decided this Jesus guy is alright. And for some reason (before their bloodlines were evaporated) they never questioned this fact, nor did this Jesus guy get overthrown by some new deity.
So, historically, Christianity is pretty fucking white. Even if it has jewish (this part is also debatable) roots.
