The art industry is weird, they don't care about a piece of paper like most industries, just skill so if you have the money you're better off paying a professional artist to mentor (you) and rec your ass to colleagues, editors, art directors and other people in their network.
You don't need art school, it's a waste of time and money, plenty of artists that say this like Marc Brunet, he's an art school dropout, he got in the industry and learned most of his art skills on the job from coworkers.
