She has probably the most important niche in the game for high end content now, stalling is the name of the game in high dificulty maps.
So I would say yes but you're not exactly NEED her, it's like Mostima, the stalling is fantastic and can be the difference between you clearing the map or ot but it depends on the map and all that.
