Those are a thing again?

I remember back in 1.5 there was a large collection of VAE and you would get a lot since they really changed the overall tone of the image.
For example you would set a different vae if you wanted an image with stronger shadows, more vibrant colors or more gothic vibes

But once xl models hit different vae kind of dissappeared and you would stick to the default vae for the model of your choce.

Used to play with them a lot but I have not changed VAE since pony days started.
Mostly because only the vanilla default ones worked and the ones different changed nothing at all.
I kind of assumed for illustrious was the same
