Her record entry says it means crocodile but I have no I idea how it became Klukai/Clukay. From an interview the wiki linked Yuzhong said it sounds German(?). And the character's reason from the record entry is because she wants to "become akin to a fierce crocodile", but I guess it mostly came from the red tear in her design. Crocodile tears and all that.
