>I feel like for such attacks to have a meaningful impact, they would need to have support from the Mexican authorities, both in terms of intelligence and actual ground support to process prisioners, apprehend found drugs and weapons and hold terrain so that competing cartels wouldn't just move into the area afterward. Unfortunately, the Mexican government has shown itself unwilling to support such operations.
