I suspect that almost all of us were like that; instinctually we knew that something was very wrong, very badly awry with the world in which we found ourselves, but we lacked the vocabulary necessary for fully describing our instinctual hunches.

But along the way, we developed quite a descriptive vocabulary as a foundation for our revelations.

What's wonderful now is that we have such a profoundly rich vocabulary with which to describe our enemies and their various psychological mesmerization & hypnotization techniques.

tl;dr == You can't fully understand a phenomenon until you develop the vocabulary necessary to DESCRIBE the phenomenon.
