A lot of Asian countries actually made the effort to like India earlier because China was asshole, but India is just so awful even Hong Kong that was initially cheering for India during the border skirmish that happened around the 2019 Anti-Extradition protests conclude that China is bad, but India is WORSE.
In most of East Asia, outside of China that first went communist and then tried to be American in business culture...men aren't supposed to touch women, Koreans have "manner hands" but actually Hong Kongers and overseas Chinese practice it too. So the rapestaring and groping ways of Indian males are beyond the pale -- they would have been executed for this in the old days.
