>regularly donates money to the dalamud and penumbra devs because he knows Mare's popularity has given them a lot of extra stress and work
>rejects any monetization suggestions from users, the most he ever did was allow the $3/mo patreon subs to get priority bandwidth on the mare servers when it was congested and that's it

There were a lot of simps BEGGING for additional ways for them to pay him MORE, it was bizarre to read and it was like all of the most predatory business practices you see in greedy corps these days. It's like they've been conditioned to think that's normal so they expect it these days.

Guys I'm starting to think this is a bigger loss than we realize. The next Mare replacement may very well be monetizied to hell and back because they know the normie mare userbase is used to eating shit and will happily pay a subscription fee for the plugin if they had to. It's like potentially replacing Gabe Newell with Bobby Kotick.

Also I no longer believe this is fake, his track record is pretty solid.
