I was banging my head on my desk when the rep started saying that too. His argument fell off after he admitted the barrels still get shout out the same way a chrome lined barrel does, except that chrome lining offers way better corrosion resistance and it naturally lasts longer than nitride.

I would've had full respect for the guy if he just said "we don't do chrome because envirofaggots have made it cost-inhibiting, and we figure if you're buying a Polish AK it's probably not your only one so it doesn't matter if it's going to last a gorillion rounds".

98% of their buyers will never shoot out the nitride barrels anyways, let alone a chrome one. There's SKS's for sale every day from 50-60 years ago that have decent chrome lining in their barrels.
