I do think there's a case to be made about the way Deltarune explores misogyny. Like in the weird route, Noelle plays the "perfect victim" stereotype to a T and you take advantage of that to mold her into a deadly weapon. You diagetically have to "objectify" this female character by making her surpress her feelings to become a cold killing machine. There's a lot you can extrapolate from that angle.
I'm just tired of people who use tumblrspeak to sound more smart. I don't think I'm forcing Kris and Noelle into a "heteronormative" relationship. I think Noelle is taking on a more masculine role here because she's out killing things and getting stronger, what makes it misogynistic is that she has no agency. Like if you were to argue that the "heteronormativity" from the Player-Noelle dynamic comes from Noelle being the "man" who kills things without remorse while the player is the "woman" who exists to motivate her into killing then at least there's some consistency in that line of thinking. Just say Deltarune explores gender dynamics in an compelling and subtle way that isn't preachy, I dunno.
