I find it interesting that they went about the route of making you infer everything on her relationship with her brother. She works hard for the Ryokan, and so does her brother, but Pegitan was making it into a competition like the two are always working so hard. Then this episode one of two things is going on, either Touji is always annoying her and really noisy, or he's into pretty foreign-looking girls and is trying to get in on some action.
