Does the train ever move or is it just a static asset?
Pokémon’s biggest problem is its lack of dynamic towns. Everything feels dead/sterile. If trains came and went, NOCs roamed a little bit, and maybe some aircraft flew over or something it would be a lot better.
Xenoblade X does this really well. Within NLA especially you have skells coming and going, cars constantly driving around, roaming animals, and NPCs following a small daily routine. It’s a lot of simple stuff that goes a long way towards making the place feel alive.
