Additionally, plenty of leaks and admissions from Arkane that just before their version of Prey's development they were all hands were primarily on deck with a Half-Life 2 spin-off called Ravenholm only to suddenly 360 with being "tapped in" for Prey (with leaks of this coming out years in advance including multiple email leaks similarly verifying it was always going to be called Prey, see here https://arch.b4k.dev/v/thread/312827628/#312828546 ).

Like I said, there's no innocent dindu nuffin side in this story. Everyone was either malicious (Bethesda), an asshole (Arkane), or just plain fucking stupid (Human Head).
