Bashar al-Assad lives a quiet life in Moscow and spends his days playing video games
According to the German newspaper Die Zeit, former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad leads a quiet life in Moscow. He spends most of his time playing video games.
A source of the publication, who has known the politician's family since childhood, said that Assad and his relatives move freely around Moscow and the region. They are provided with security by a private security company hired by the Russian government.
Sometimes Assad goes to a shopping center located in the same building where his apartment is located. Die Zeit does not specify which games he prefers.
