Dracs are straight up fun badguys. They revel in their badguyness like Saturday morning cartoon villains. Plus, bonus fun of killing clanners, the even worse badguys. Most of their mechs are gimped in primary configuration, but randomly have good variants later.

Caps are fun in the 3020s when they're scraping by with anything they can. After Sunny, they just get jerked off too much for my taste. Lots of impressive machines after Xin Sheng, though. Plus, they also kill Stoners which is cool.

IMO you get better as a player using Dracs and getting to be Samurai Skeletor is so much more fun.
