>blue wave
1. It's not the midterms.
2. It wasn't a blue wave, it was a green tide.
3. Blue-dog Dems replaced with Green Socialists.
4. Socialist candidates already complaining they can't do 90% of the shit they promised they would.
5. Socialists will demand more seats at the table, only then can they actually do stuff.
6. In the meantime, they'll fuck up so horribly people will reject them (again).
Seriously, this happens constantly in blue cities. They elect socialists who royally fuck up whatever they're put in charge of until said socialists resign or are voted out. Wanna know the reason folks like Bernie and AOC lasted so long? Name an accomplishment of AOC in the administrative arena. Now do Bernie. You can't because they literally haven't done shit. They run safe areas where you could make a plank of wood the rep and nothing would change.
I'm not predicting a red wave in the midterms but, a "freeze" of the current electoral map, unless Republicans create more seats through gerrymandering. Even then, it will just be more of the same until 2028. Slight/moderate Republican majority in all three branches, Dems politically impotent, Greens slowly take over more of the Democrats due to said impotence.
Then the new Dems (might as well rename it DSA) will get crushed in 2028 because by then, the results of these Socialist elections will bear fruit. Democrats are now politically irrelevant but not quite gone just yet. They have strong political machines in their strongholds and will basically "hold the line" so that the Greens can cannibalize the base. Except the Greens are clumsier, sloppier, and dumber, so all the fraud/malfeasance will fall on Socialist shoulders and the old guard Dems who built the political machines will get off scott-free with all their cheating.
Socialists are being prepared for the big sacrifice but are so power hungry they don't see it coming.
