You can't make a proper recolor by just putting a blue filter over something (like the brain-damaged bonobo who did the color "correction" for Jurassic World), especially when trying to turn something from orange to blue. Orange is almost blue's direct opposite in a RGB spectrum, so putting a blue filter over orange light, of course you're going to get a dark, muddy mess. I'm functionally retarded when it comes to using paint software, and even I knew that.
Unless your working with more neutral colors, like bright skin tones, you'd be much better of isolating the thing you want to recolor, draining all color from it, then recoloring the greyed object.
For this, I (in GIMP) fuzzy selected her hair, selected "Hue-Chroma" from the "Colors" menu, and set "Chroma" for the selection to -100 to turn her hair grey. Then I copied the HEX code of a blue selected from a neutral area of her body (with no highlights or shadows), selected "Colorize" from the "Colors" menu, copied the HEX code in the "Color" selection box, and fiddled with it a touch to make it a near exact match to the color of her swollen body.
I also made some corrections to the lines and fill of and around her hair, because damn, was it messy. I recolored her irises and made the lights in her pupils hearts (as best I could) manually.
And now you know how to take most blueberry inflation pictures and make her hair and eyes the same color as her body. So if ever you were looking at the original and thinking "This would be PERFECT to fap to, if only she was blue all over," you're welcome.
