smart mio monster

drinking too much water, especially after heaving sweat a lot, leads to hyponatremia - low sodium presence in the blood. As the water in the blood fills up cells and contracts them, the last place in the human body where sodium can be found in large enough quantities is in the brain. Water travels through the blood/brain barrier via osmosis and the brain swelling leads to everything from migraines and vomiting to coma and death depending on the severity.

Always be sure to take some sodium and potassium when rehydrating.
