It's because she tricked Nick into thinking she was extremely ambitious and motivated and he was excited at the ego boost he could get from creating a new big streamer. However as soon as her position in his life was secure she stopped trying hard and is happy to coast on his clout for the foreseeable future. Like you say hates streaming and doesn't care about making interesting content, she just likes the attention she can get from being a streamer.
