Yes, but RACIALLY the Germanic people and the anglos were, and both of them viewed themselves as different from the others. Their histories are distinctly different from each other, especially in the context of America. The Germanic people entered America as guests (always as immigrants) that respected the owners of America, while the anglos entered America as INVADERS hurting the owners of America.
