Do such gay communities even exist? You bet they do. But they are not going to walk up to you on a grindr or bar date. You have to seek them out and go where they are, and use your sense to find them. You cant do both at the same time. You are not going to find them doing the bar scene.

Which means...

You have to give up the easy expectation of sex. This is where most guys stop. Its not that they are too stupid that they dont realize they wont find commitment in Big City Whores. But they cant give up the scene. The gay lifestyle is about glamorizing sex. It has to be hedonistic to sell to young people with no better sense.

So make your choice. Do what you want to do. But dont expect to play the bar scene like some dorm whore and then expect to find 'romance' or 'the one'. You will drive yourself nuts and suffer for years. If you want sex, chase sex. It doesnt need context or a narrative. And if you want a relationship, then seek that. But they are different things with different strategies. And most men, especially gay ones, are not really about relationships. They just want the social validation of saying they have a bf. Its why they are clogging social media with those absurd couples videos.
