I never gave a shit about the competitive side of fighting games. For me it was a genre with insanely cool character designs, over the top attacks and abilities and i just played weeaboo fightans for the sheer spectacle. But other genres matured and now provide me with similar experience and character expression, and i don't even need to interact with randoms online to do it. So i stopped giving a shit about fighting games.
