The “Nordic race” is an obsolete concept from racial pseudoscience. It’s scientifically invalid: Human genetic variation is continuous, not separated into clear racial categories. There’s more variation within groups than between them. It’s no longer accepted in serious science and is mostly referenced today in historical or ideological contexts.The term was heavily promoted by racial supremacists, particularly in Nazi Germany, where the “Nordic race” was idealized as superior. Some white nationalist or neo-pagan movements today still use the term to promote ethnic purity or anti-immigrant ideologies. Thank you for listening.
