>In my mind when making the game it was the end of a trilogy. The story was going to be 3 games. FNAF3 is where I started to let myself be driven more by criticisms of the game. People were not happy with the jump scare and so in my mind I wouldn't let the series rest.
I don't think making a fourth game as a reaction to people being upset with the jump scare in the jump scare in the third game is considered planning it out.
