I think that Lauren Faust enjoys girly things more than she wants to admit it, after all she wrote first two parter where ponies defeated two monsters by showing kindness to them, sharing with them and laughing at trees so pretty stereotypical and girly for me, additionally she pitched two ideas for episodes that were all about mane 6 being obsessed with stallions.
