I've had no interest in buying this game ever since that one rumor about Ryu only having one weapon came about. Once they confirmed that Ryu would indeed only have one weapon, and then were shameless enough to officially announce that his other weapons would be locked behind DLC again, just like vanilla NG3 (except they're not free this time), all before the game even came out, it proved to me that this game is just a cheap cashgrab, much like NG2 Black.

Everything I’ve heard about this game also just sounds awful. The fact that I've seen people posting 30-second-long combo clips tells me everything I need to know about it. It's a Ninja Gaiden game in name only. I’m simply not buying it. I won’t even pirate it. Maybe I’ll check it out in six years or so, but not now. I can just replay the first three games in the meantime. Modern Team Ninja and Platinum can both go fuck themselves. That is all.
