The whole point of hypersonics is to get past American air defenses. No other country has air defenses advanced enough to require hypersonics to penetrate them. We don’t need them yet so we’re taking our time. Meanwhile we’ll just send JASSMs and Tomohawks, or use stealth aircraft, and there’s nothing you can do about it.
