you can't, playing offense always has an innate disadvantage
defense only has to have 1 plan and be good at that 1 particular thing to get the jump on the offensive side, the offensive side has to be prepared for any scenario and able to adapt to it
there is no feasible way an offense team can know what is going to happen every time so the defensive side has a better chance of getting a successful attack off, there is no way around it
it doesnt matter the armor you have, the fancy gizmos, or the training, its always a game of chance and you just use whatever you can to slightly tip the scales more in your favor
