She's being clever. It's precisely because she's not a man that it works as a joke.
I know humour doesn't translate very well to other cultures, but it was humorous banter from Cher.
She was not proclaiming herself a man, or the man or anything more than saying, financially I've made it and on that front i can take care of myself.
In no way did she mean, "I'll never get married now that I have money."
She did get married, btw
