Oh wait, it totally slipped my mind, but did the reason why Momo nicknamed him ever actually get explained to Okarun? Has he actually spent this ENTIRE manga thinking that Momo just hates his legal name for some inexplicable reason, and that's why this was his reaction? Is he actually worried that, without the other positive memories of their first adventure, telling her his name will just make her hate him and ruin the chances of her ever liking him again?

Or am I just forgetting something and overthinking this?
