Yeah this is the main sentiment I have with the prequels. I can generally watch them all and laugh at all the shitty bits but they just get worse with each scene and movie. Like Jar Jar not existing would elevate TPM immensely or if he was played more straight like he is during the Planet Core scene. Kid Anakin didn’t need all the dumb dialogue or “yippie” moments. Then we get to AOTC…good God that movie with its dialogue and creepy “romance” scenes.
