Honestly, that's the impression I got him. Or rather, he looks kinda traumatized by what Albedo did. Chibi Durin definitely didn't realize how messed up Albedo's idea was. Nahida, as the God of Wisdom, is against changing nature like this, yet Albedo, in his paralogism, assumed Durin would be happier as a human rather than another chibi dragon form because he shares Rhinedottir's belief that humans are superior. Rhin3 sees Albedo as her perfection creation, unlike all the beasts she created, which are deemed as primitive. But honestly, if Durin is used to antagonize Albedo and Gold's understanding of life, I'd find that more interesting than another quest like Ineffa's, which is about what it means to be human rather than "but why portray humans as superior beings?". It'd be interesting if Durin is in Nod-krai not for the Moon Sisters themselves, but to know more about Nibelung.
