Hey, some of us have been on the internet longer than 4chan has existed and sometimes you just don't catch everything. I never knew the song's name.

So this has a little more screaming than I tend to like in my metal, but it's interesting for enough reasons to pull me in anyway. First off, my interest was peaked when I saw something from the main singer posting some clips from their music videos which she apparently directs and edits and does the effects for herself. And those videos looked pretty sick, honestly. Some Carpenter Brut kinda shit in places. So I gave a shot to the first one I saw on the band's page and yeah, it's not bad. Apparently there's a storyline so this is kind of in the middle of that, but it's a decent enough bellwether to see if you're interested enough to look up more. I might be, out of interest in the narrative, maybe.

But anyway, the music's alright, like I said, a little screamy, but it vibes with the video in a way that draws me to listen to it when I probably wouldn't by itself. Anyway, check it out.

Hey hey hey, Toonami General! It's always a little tough getting back to proper organization after a long break, but Deep Space Radio's still got you covered. And frankly, if you're still here, you deserve some tunes.

So to celebrate our extended... vacation? Let's start off with a new drop from TWRP called My Big Day Off.

An excellent summer tune, with that funky bass and rockin' guitar, it's a song to groove to while you're setting yourself up for a nice little bit of me time, maybe while you're fixing a drink or something. Just something to hype yourself up when you've got some well-earned time off from the grind. Even if that's just a weekend break or something. Take your victories where you can.

Hey hey, Toonami General, Deep Space Radio here to bring you those smooth tunes to get you on through the night tonight, since it's just reruns on out.

Tonight we'll start with some more from Loaded Honey, here's Tokyo Rain.

I definitely enjoy their upbeat tunes more than the somewhat more subdued ones, but they're all pretty nice. I really wanna go through their videos at some point to figure out if there's supposed to be some overarching story going on with these videos, as they all seem to be kind of tied together. I haven't really pinned down anything concrete from what I've seen so far though. Still, it's been neat. Just a nice and easy breezy groove to start you off.

Yo yo yo, Toonami General. It's been an eventful week but we're still here. Sorry to say it sounds like the same won't be true of our compatriots over at Checkered Past, but that's the way of things. Still, we've got some tunes tonight to share, so stick around!

First up we've got a new one from Vulfmon called Valk.

I dig this easygoing tune, with its neat mixture of instruments. I always kinda like it when you use brass instruments for what's basically the bassline. It doesn't always have to be a string instrument! I also just on a basic level enjoy that he can play all the different harmonies, that always shows talent to me. I only have basic experience in music and less memory of it after all this time but I know enough to know you gotta know what you're doing come up with all that and play it all even when there's nothing else playing (could be using a playback idk but all the same). Either way, fun tune.
