Here is one.

That does not mean SCs are inherently bad, but no chains made them correctly. XRPL has some SC functionality through what we call smart escrows, but it's a bit more limited than full-fledged SCs. As per Mayukha Vadari words, "The XRPL is a multibillion dollar network, it's better to take a measured stepping stone approach instead of going too big too fast", it's probable XRPL might get full-fledged SCs later, but this is not a top priority.
