The light of God will never die in Christ. The choice not to discern any difference between the light and the dark is spiritual blindness.

Jesus said his are to be the light of the world, and in God there is meant to be no darkness.

It is only a matter of time until the light again unite into a body, and use for themselves the name of God to justify whatever is required to ensure they have their promised eternal life. The blood will run deep and the gnashing of teeth will be cacophonous, many will say Lord, Lord, but those who he has never known will not be recognized as the light when they are cast out or worse.
