I swear to God reforming the Carolingian Empire is impossible. Every vassal just fucking hates you and you can only wrangle them through alliances (they join independence factions if they like you btw). When you finally make an empire title and die with more than one son it’s all fucked all over again. No holy war causus belli in Iberia means you have to get the claims individually to win that region, fuck this shit man
