Think of the new Heritage Armor for the Pandarens like if you were yo go to a party. The party is hosted by your friends for a local Halloween college get together and everyone is in costume. At the party everyone is wearing their favorite heritage armor from WoW. Theres not one duplicate instance.
For the party you brought snacks that youll be providing alongside a good joyful fun time becsuse youve been anticipating this party for months, let's say, since about February.
At the party you bring the Pandaren Heritage Armor transmog. You see everyone else getting along just fine other than the Gilnean heritage armor wearer who is sitting all by themselves and as you go over to sit with them, the goblin heritage armor sits down next to them.
My point is and the lesson that should be taken away from this analogy is, Pandaren Heritage armor only looks bad because it is in a vacuum.
Had there been any other heritage armor released by its side, there would be a lot more people pleased with the release.
I mean I dont specifically blame anyone. If I wanted, let's say, a ninja costume for my pandren, even though ninjas are inherently exclusively Japanese
But here we have the example of Pandaren armor taking on the appearance of a samurai, and the thing is, samurais aren't actually from China, which I dont know if you guys know that.
Chinese generals dressed similar to Japanese samurais but theyre two distinctive things.
I mean even look at the Monk gear from patch 1, that was very much samurai gear and it should've been the heritage armor for the pandsrens but I digress as I dont exactly know how everyone feels in the long run and I dont know how blizzard actually feels.
Because we need to take into account Blizzards emotions and intentions. They aren't purely designing for the player here. They're painting the mural and theyre giving us piece by piece, almost like a puzzle to paint the beautiful World of Warcraft
