Headlight? Flashlight? Clip light? I would go with a headlight -- don't know where you are hiking, but I prefer my hands free. Wurrkos HD10 or HD15 is what I had, no complaints. Has an internal replaceable battery of a standard size (14500 for 10, 18650 for 15), so you can swap it once the stock one dies. Mighty bright, 2h battery life on 10, 3h on 15. Both can be used as both headlamp, clipped to something (chest strap) or just in hand.
HD10 also has Anduril autism included (see picrel)
