I don't relate to people who lament their own loneliness. I've had enough of people. I've been completely inundated with obnoxious personalities and meaningless and frivolous "connection". Every single person you meet is scanning you at all times for how they can use you. All interaction in the modern day is a social competition. All you matter to them is your utility in serving them in some way.
All the movies and TV shows and games you've played where there's bands of brothers and loyal sidekicks and passionate love interests is a fantasy that you will only find in such mediums. Real life works completely differently. There is no brotherhood, no love, only survival.
No one is your friend, and to be able to sustain yourself while being alone with no one to leech off of you emotionally, psychically, or however else, is one of this world's most underrated and yet valuable gifts.
