It's kinda funny, he is emulating an aspect of Stand Alone Complex (the idea explored in the Ghost in the Shell show). He is doing so much harm via infohazard that the logical conclusion to anyone taking him seriously is that he is doing it on purpose to spread misinfo and make those he supports look like fools. However, if you look closer, it's impossible for him to be an asset, he's too much of a dumbass, he is actually high on his own supply. There has to be a concentrated effort supporting him, he can't seriously be this dumb -- except there can't be a concentrated effort supporting him, because he is actually that dumb. He's the kind of guy who would get arrested by Major Kusaragi, only for her to realize he's a red herring used by the real suspect she was after.
