And it was an anthology of smaller stories, but I forgot most bits of what came before as each new one came. I vaguely recall the general theme of fighting against esoteric horrors as part of a strike team for most of them. I do remember the last part of the dream, however.

The last story started with me sitting at a table in public in what seemed to be a public conference/expo. I'm part of an NGO and I'm talking to some girls and people in public as I'm sitting down behind the table. Two fairly pretty looking women come up and I greet them. They announce they're new models of robots designed by the government to obey any order.

I look at them non-assumingly and they say to prove their point, they're going to kill themselves to prove it as it was a given order. They stab themselves with something and fall to the floor dead with synthetic blood and oil and sparks coming out. Wack
