man, I had a race today where Rice (Pace) got the worst late start possible, 9th place, and RIGHT as she was about to accellerate back up, the wall of nice natures closed in front of her and BROCKED her in there for the entire opening leg. She never recovered. I didn't even know that level of catastrophic failure was possible.

In that same race, Daiwa was the only frontrunner, and she also got a cataclysmic late start. It was so bad that the pace chasers were on her ass right from the get go, but I got to see the magic of pace-keep do its funniest trick i've ever seen. There was a Tachyon in 2nd place, and she got too close to the sun. She got a speed boost and attempted to pass Daiwa at just 1/3 through the race, then pace keep AI said SIT THE FUCK BACK DOWN and she got a forced speed-down that sent her from 2nd 10 full lengths back all the way to 6th. My Daiwa's start was so bad that it caused her mom to lose the race too. Man it was a thing of glory and i wish i had the foresight to record it just to doccument these rare wonderous fuckups.
