to each their own, some people make their tiling setup keeb only, some people go with the old and proven way of the windows or mac, some are masochistic enough to unironically use gnome, i recently found out that people back then used to make their setups look like nasa launch interfaces or some form of third world country pulverizer like picrel (from fvwm website)
