It won't work MV2 API is literally gone from Chrome entirely. uBO needs MV2 API.
Otherwise you could just download the current Chromium extension for uBO off GitHub and load it from developer mode without having to compile anything.

If you want to use the full uBO and not the limited MV3 port, you have to stay on Chrome 138.
