It's fun and endlessly playable with different weapon combinations for each playthrough. Not only is the game charming and cheesy in a great way, but the gameplay is genuinely satisfying as fuck every single playthrough without fail. Even though I didn't find the remake to be as great as the original, I still found the remake to be just as replayable.
Something about the pacing of the game, the encounters, the shooting, and all of its sequences combine into a really, really, stupidly enjoyable video game.
