>only achieves social power through internet moderation abilities
>forcibly closes the discussion when his "important" posts go ignored
Just remember, forever and always: they do it for free. They think they are doing you a favor or carrying out some civic service, like a patriotic soldier instead of an autist that sprays homeless feces into a gutter for the local police because they're given a whistle and a hi-vis vest and think they're part of the team.
You can read the leaked janny board from when the site went down and it's great schadenfreude and a peek into the same sort of discussions that are assuredly happening in internal moderation channels on other sites.
>they could never do what we do, semper fi brothers
>ugh... this chud keeps winning arguments against me, can somebody make sure they aren't ban evading pls? I think this technically broke subsection B. of article IV of rule 3 anyway so at the very least that needs addressed
>we're not going to be allowing X posts on Y board anymore but we don't want to transparently draw attention to it or court an angry community response by clarifying our stance either, just delete it to minimize until they get bored
>remember to take mental health days when you need them so you don't get burnt out! you are loved and wanted hon!
And yet, creeping up like a weed, despair and terror will return to them as it always does.
