I was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 (I’m fine now, don’t worry) but while I was sick I had a lot of free time so I researched cancer and it’s basically like a corrupted form of cell regeneration that geckos and lizards and stuff have, I think it’s a holdover from our ancestors or it got corrupted somehow. It’s interesting because the way we treat cancer is with chemotherapy, so I looked into the chemotherapy cocktail I was given and it included belomycin which is literally puffer fish toxin, which acts as a poison and kills off your bodies ability to regenerate new cells (everywhere, this is why your hair falls out and stuff, and your nails stop growing and you scar/bruise much easier) so in order to survive cancer I essentially had to go through a kind of weird necromancy ritual to temporarily poison myself to turn myself “undead” to kill my body’s ability to heal so that I could essentially starve the cancer of nutrients for long enough for my immune system to reboot and regain control of my bodies ability to heal.
