first time i visited was for about 16 hours, literally a bus trip, arrive early morning, rush around to do touristy stuff and then rush back on the bus at midnight
this time around was a little more relaxed, i had a hotel, and was also missing britain quite a lot so maybe things that annoyed me last time, i was more happy to see. i was staying in the city and spending time only there as well, so maybe it was a part of it.
of course it stank of weed and there were drunks and mental people around constantly. but i've had that back when i lived in britain so it's not so shocking.
the pint of poretti at spoons in gatwick was the best pint i've had in a long time
maybe also a part of it was knowing that i didn't have to pay for a single thing the whole time
