Has anyone else noticed how generic Japanese hentai has become these days?

Most of us on this board draw hentai—let's not play dumb—and for that reason, we follow accounts by Japanese artists. I don't know about you, but with a few notable exceptions, it would be very difficult for me to differentiate the art of the artists I follow.

So I ask: In a hyper-saturated market, is the key to thriving in this business not selling your art, but your particular style of art?
